How About a Talking Banner?

Target was issuing a challenge to the digital and developer community: "Tell us how to reinvent retail shopping, and we just might make your idea reality." We led the campaign, and hit on two innovations: 1) Write all the banner ads in code, and 2) Let coders engage with them like never before. Target got over 115 credible entries (and hundreds of job application). For a digital only campaign over two months, that was a huge win. Creative director: Me. Writer: Kris Growcott
